[ Road trip ] Week-end pascal dans le Cotentin

En ce weekend pascal, (aucun lien avec mon oncle Pascal) on part faire les cloches et affronter la pluie dans le coin d’Agon-Coutainville.

Les hauts coefficients de marées prévus ce weekend vont nous permettre d’aborder la pêche à pied. La pluie va nous aider à profiter de la Normandie.

Départ de Paris le vendredi en soirée, arrivée sur notre spot en pleine nuit. Même si la lune éclaire la nuit, on attendra le lendemain pour voir à quoi ça ressemble l’endroit.

Nous ne sommes pas déçus du résultat au réveil

Nous sommes seuls, protégés du vent par les dunes.

Ce spot est situé à côté de la zone conchylicole de Blainville-sur-Mer. Coordonnées GPS: 49.082799, -1.608290

On découvre derrière nous les petites cabanes de plage adossées aux dunes, si caractéristiques de ce coin de Normandie.

C’est pur. Malgré la mer grise, on se retrouve dans un petit environnement dans lequel cohabitent dunes et cabanes colorées. Les cabanons tournent le dos à la mer. Pratique pour se protéger du vent.

 

On file ensuite vers Gouville-sur-mer. Abrités sous la pluie, on regarde le balais des ostréiculteurs, qui avec leurs gros tracteurs s’en vont  travailler dans les parcs à huîtres situés au bout de la mer, en pleine marée basse. Les périodes de hauts coefficients sont les seuls moments pendant lesquels les ostréiculteurs peuvent se rendre dans les parcs à huître les plus éloignés. Là où se situe la pleine mer à marée haute.

Le vent et la pluie nous confortent dans notre idée de rester au chaud à l’intérieur du van.

Sur un coup de tête, on sort de notre torpeur pour aller faire un tour sur le front de mer de Gouville. Ces petites cabanes mignonnes qui s’étalent ne font pas défaut ici. C’est reparti pour un tour au milieu de ces petits toits colorés.

La pluie n’aura pas raison de nous. Le vent non plus.

 

 

Le lendemain matin, après un brunch en mode fruits de mer, on file s’essayer à la pêche à pieds. On a pris la tangente un peu plus vers le nord, près de Saint-Germain-sur-Ay.

Le temps est clair, c’est miraculeux.

On cherche les coques, ça retourne les rochers pour dénicher des étrilles, on sonde l’eau pour trouver des caches de homards…

La pêche est légère aujourd’hui, ça tombe bien on a envie de manger des côtes de bœuf.

 

Faute de temps sec pour passer la soirée en plein air, notre stratégie de repli nous retranche à la Cale.

La Cale, à Blainville sur mer

La Cale c’est à Blainville-sur-Mer.
C’est en bord de mer, en bord de dunes.

C’est simple. C’est chaleureux. C’est hors du temps. C’est une déco à base de tableaux  en crochets, de vieilles tables en bois, de viande grillée sur la cheminée.
C’est musical, animé, blindé en ce dimanche soir pascal.

La Cale, c’est unique, il faut y aller une fois dans sa vie quand on ambitionne de faire les choses bien.

L’été, les petites tables sur les dunes, le soleil, le blanc sec du patron et le homard servi à point doivent créer des moment de bonheur uniques.
On y retournera.

On passera la nuit sur le parking situé devant la Cale. C’est plus par esprit pratique que nous opterons pour cette option. La vue n’est pas terrible au réveil le lendemain matin. La journée s’annonce fort pluvieuse.
